Horizon
To the aisles we turn our bow
To the distance we point our gaze
Through foreign seas our boat we row
To drifting winds our sails we raise.
By fading stars we chart our way
With feeble hands our wheel we spin
B’neath stormy skies our prayers we say
With silent tears our days begin.
Our eyes we fix on that line
The only shore we’ll never beach
A place where sea and sky combine
Forever there, just out of reach.
