I'm a web designer and developer based in Novi Sad, Serbia. I specialize in high-performance, static-driven solutions with a heavy emphasis on thoughtful, expressive design. I'm passionate about accessibility, good typography and beauty in simplicity.

WHAT I CAN BUILD:
For small businesses:
Brochure/informational websites, basic online identities, product/service catalogs, websites for restaurants without order functionality
For individuals:
Portfolio websites, academic/professional online profiles, high performance blogs, personal websites for solo authors/journalists/artists
WHAT I USE:
For design:
I use Figma for prototyping, Inkscape for illustration/logo design
For development:
Static frameworks: Hugo, Astro, Eleventy, Jekyll
CSS: TailwindCSS, Sass, Bootstrap5, Bulma, plain CSS (for small projects)
JavaScript: Vanilla JavaScript (for most projects), AlpineJS, familiar with NodeJS environments and working with NPM packages
For content management:
I offer integration with git-based CMSs including TinaCMS, SveltiaCMS, PagesCMS, and Keystatic as well as guidance on local git-based content authoring with markdown documents
For deployment:
Hosting: I mostly work with established static hosting providers including CloudflarePages, Netlify, Vercel and GitHubPages
Domains: I recommend the Cloudflare Registrar for top-level/international domains while I can work with almost any local hosting provider for European clients
Choosing a static website over a traditional solution like WordPress gives you better security, faster loading times, zero hosting costs and complete control over your design and content structure.
Whether you’re an individual or a small business looking to establish or refresh your online presence, I can provide you with a polished, uniquely designed website that loads quickly and shows up in search results with maintenance costs nothing more than renting your domain.
SOME OF MY WORK:
Streetwear Company Website Concept
Had some fun experimenting with a no-nonsense, brutalist homepage design for a streetwear company. I used the Archivo font in different weights and sizes for the whole page. Images from Unsplash. No frameworks or dependencies. Just urban vibes and the awesome-ness of CSS Grid.

Watch Website Redesign Concept
My proposed website redesign for Komandirskie.com an online retailer of Russian watches.

THE PROCESS:
01. Get in Touch
Send me an email at nicolas.greenwood@outlook.com with a brief explanation of what kind of services you need. I’ll respond to you in 48 hours or less.
02. Find Your Solution
Together we’ll break down exactly what you need and tailor a solution that works for you. I can assist you with any technical decisions you’re unsure about as well as sketch out prototypes that match your brand vision. I offer consultations via email and/or video call.
03. The First Build
When the planning stage is complete, I will start working on an initial version of your project. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on how large/complex your project is. As soon as it’s finished, I’ll present you with the completed product.
04. Testing
At this stage, you will have the opportunity to test the initial version to make sure everything works perfectly and suits your needs. If you notice any issues or have any extra requests, I’ll make sure to modify the site accordingly and offer it to you for testing again. If everything looks good, I’ll guide you through the deployment process to get your brand new site live and running on the web!
